Taylor & Taylor’s Beverly Hills Date Night

As things cool down romantically for Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, it’s just beginning to heat up for New Moon’s main main, Taylor Lautner and his country superstar gal-pal Taylor Swift! Last night, the same-named pair chowed down on some red meat at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Beverly Hills. This past weekend, the couple had a date at an L.A. Kings hockey game, and then Girl Taylor went on the radio to profess her affection for Team Jacob.

Exclusive Twilight Interview: Eclipse's Julia Jones

In Celebs by Kristine Gasbarre
    .

Leah Clearwater's Julia Jones opens up on her "really good job," new opportunities and - yes! - working with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

World, meet Julia Jones. Julia is one of the most sought-after new additions to the Twilight cast, having just wrapped filming for Eclipse. Jones plays the complex role of Leah Clearwater, the scorned and lonely female in the La Push werewolf pack.
A 28-year-old, Ivy-educated Boston native, Julia Jones spoke exclusively with LimeLife upon returning to Los Angeles from the Eclipse sets in Vancouver. Here we kick off a highly-coveted two-week series where she shares the shocking story behind landing the part of Leah, the ways your life transforms when you've starred in the biggest film franchise in the world, and the inside truth about Twilight cast relationships.
Twilight and LimeLife fans, get in...
LimeLife: Julia, you've just played this amazing role in Eclipse and we can't wait to hear about it. First though, can you tell us from where else we might know you?
Julia Jones: Probably the most notable thing was that I did a recurring role on ER. I appeared in their final season [as Dr. Kaya Montoya], so it was pretty cool to be a part of something that great and large as it was closing. Everybody was appreciating it, so it was a good time to be involved.
LimeLife: We heard that there were open casting calls for Eclipse. How exactly did you score the part of Leah Clearwater?
Julia Jones: The casting director I've had a relationship with for a number of years. She actually just called us up and I went in and auditioned for the director David Slade and for her, and came back about a week later and read for some people from Summit and David again and some of the producers. And then I waited for about a month before I heard anything, and you're right, in that time they were doing huge casting calls and going up to Canada. I think they accepted tapes from anybody so really anyone in the world could put themselves on tape and potentially be seen by the casting people.
LimeLife: Okay, so basically you were tapped on the shoulder to audition for the biggest cinema craze of our time. What kind of relationship did you have with the Twilight series at that time?
Julia Jones: It's interesting because I hadn't read any of the books before I got the audition. I of course was aware of it, I have good friends who have been - I think "obsessed" is the right word - for quite some time. (Laughs.) Then when I got the call for the audition, I actually had a very serious visceral reaction. My heart started beating fast, it's a very unusual thing but I think on some level I think I sort of felt like I knew that this was going to be something important and probably life-changing.
LimeLife: Julia, you were cast with a pretty dynamic and somewhat complex character. Can you tell us about Leah Clearwater?
Julia Jones: Yeah, totally. First of all she's the only werewolf who's a female, which is in itself a very cool thing, but she has this complicated backstory where she is heartbroken because the head of the pack Sam Uley left her for her best friend and her cousin. So in addition to that she's dealing with all the changes that you have in your body when you become a wolf, and as a girl there's really nobody who knows what's happening to her - she's really alone and out there and heartbroken at the same time. And it makes her very angry and mean, and really she's just in a lot of pain and she doesn't know how to ask for help so she lashes out.
LimeLife: What did you bring to Leah's character? Did you relate to her?
Julia Jones: The heartbreak is a very universal emotion and most of us have felt that - I have. So that was clearly part of it. But also just being so caught up in what's going on in your world emotionally that you can't connect to the outside world, that's something that's a hard thing. Anytime you go through something dark and painful, it makes you want to just withdraw from the world, except you can't. I explored what that's like a lot when I was preparing.
One of the fun things that I got to bring to her was just being a tomboy and hanging out with the boys. I was always a huge tomboy growing up and I was always competing. I was the only girl in my football league, and they were so mean to me! (Laughs). And so a lot of that was easy to draw on.
Check back with LimeLife on Thursday for Part Two of our interview with Eclipse's Julia Jones where she will be talking about how Twilight has changed her life.
Meanwhile, read about New Moon's 15-city mall tour - you could meet the cast members in your hometown!

Are Rob and Kristen Over?

In the past month Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart got engaged, then moved in together, and then were planning the wedding of the year.
Naturally, the most logical place to go after OK! magazine's cover rampage is to announce a Robsten breakup, of course.
So what's the deal? Rob and Kristen sure have been keeping a low profile lately...
Like they always do. Everything is fine between them.
So why doesn't Kristen shout from the rooftops she's dating one of the hottest guys on the planet right now?
"She's especially closed-mouth and sensitive," dishes Deep Twi. "She was going through a breakup with Michael [Angarano], meanwhile all these reporters asking about every detail of her love life. She has no intention of ever doing that again."
Remember: K.Stew would slightly open up about M.A. when they were dating, and since their breakup, everyone wanted to know "What happened?" and "Who is she dating now?"
If Stewart doesn't actually ever confirm she and Rob are more than friends, she never has to explain what happens if they take a break or go their separate ways.
"Everyone on set knows what's going on with Rob and Kristen, and everyone just lets it happen without bothering them with labels or questions—why can't the public do that, too?" says our studio insider.
Justine Wachsberger, who plays Gianna in New Moon, also recently talked to E! News about whether Rob and Kristen will even arrive together to the premiere:
"I think that Rob and Kristen will go separate," she dished. "They are pretty private people. Everything they have done in the past, they have tried to keep it separate, so I would say that won't change now."

'New Moon' Star Ashley Greene Picks Her Favorite Scenes Actress also talks about cast's shared love of kittens, board games.

The tabloid covers may be dominated by Rob and Kristen, but in the hearts and minds of "Twilight" fans, there is no cover girl as dazzling as so-sweet-she'll-give-you-a-cavity series star Ashley Greene.
With "New Moon" less than a month away (hooray!), and Alice Cullen's screen time substantially increased, we caught up with the actress and occasional MTV News correspondent to get her latest thoughts on stealing expensive cars, playing board games with Kellan Lutz, and the "New Moon" cast's shared love of ... kittens?

MTV: What was your favorite "New Moon" scene to shoot?

Ashley Greene: Of course, the Porsche was incredible, the whole experience of filming [that scene]. Working with Michael Sheen, it was just really funny how he created this whole atmosphere out of the scene and could switch it up. Everything that he did was a little bit inspired, and so the whole Volturi scene with him was really fun to do. [I also love] the whole Cullen scene, when Bella gets a paper cut and Jasper goes crazy — you haven't seen that side of him yet. The performances are great, and the whole dynamic is really great. That was one of my favorite scenes to watch.

MTV: You guys have become such good friends and have so much downtime between takes. What sort of things do you talk about when the cameras aren't rolling?
Greene: Between takes? Gosh, everything. YouTube was a big topic of conversation; we were sharing YouTube videos. Which was kinda funny, because [we'd be filming a] really intense situation, and then they would yell, "Cut!" and we would have 20 minutes and we'd break out "Kittens Inspired by Kittens." It's this little girl reading a kittens book. [Laughs.]

MTV: So Alice and Bella would be giggling between all that drama?
Greene: Yeah, there was a lot of that, just a lot of giggling and laughing. During "New Moon," especially in Italy, me and Kristen were, like, the only girls. So there was a lot of girly giggling going on.

MTV: Do you feel more like Alice now than when you did "Twilight"?
Greene: I feel like I was like the character a little bit anyways. I was really excited to play Alice in the beginning because she is a really positive, bright light — and a very moral vampire. I was saying in the beginning that I felt that I was [as well], and that was relatable. At least, I try to act [positively]; I don't know if we can all the time. [Also] she's really close with her family obviously, and that was there from the get-go, so I felt like the only other thing I could do to get closer would be to become a vampire or see the future. [Laughs.] [But] fashion-wise, yes. Fashion-wise, I have become a lot more like Alice Cullen, because she is probably the most fashionable out of the Cullen clan, and I've recently become obsessed with fashion.

MTV: There's so much "Twilight" merchandise out there. Do you own any?
Greene: I have a couple shirts. I have a couple things from "Twilight" that I want to keep as memorabilia, and so I have a couple shirts. I definitely have the necklace. While filming, Kellan bought the "Twilight" game, and we played. We made Xavier [Samuel] play it, the poor new kid. We were like, "The new kid will play!" and so we had Xavier come over and Peter Facinelli came over. Me and him and those two guys and Kellan played the "Twilight" game. And I won. I'm just saying. No big deal.
MTV: What is the secret to the success of the "Twilight" film franchise?
Greene: If I told you, I'd have to kill you. [Laughs.]

Rob Pattinson Parties With Cast, Various Marine Life

Something fishy was going on with Robert Pattinson Saturday night.
The Twilight saga sex symbol went solo last night to the Eclipse wrap party hosted by director David Slade at Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Center, which houses more than 70,000 animals and boasts a number of underwater viewing galleries to check out all the fish.
Why, what did you think we meant?
The many eyes looking for Kristen Stewart at the scene did not see her, though they did scope out Jackson Rathbone and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Rathbone's band, 100 Monkeys, treated partygoers to a set, which we're not sure if R.Pattz was around to hear because he took off after about 45 minutes.

Despite the fact that Eclipse will not wrap shooting until next week, with Wednesday as the expected last day, the stars can't bank on much of a break. Shortly after Eclipse wraps, they'll start globetrotting in support of the second film in the Twilight saga, New Moon, which premieres in Los Angeles on Nov. 16.
Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Elizabeth Reaser were among the actors who finished filming this week, after which they were quick to get out of Dodge, er, Forks, er, Vancouver.
Pattinson and New Moon director Chris Weitz will kick off the press tour in Japan Nov. 2-3. Then, they'll join Stewart and Taylor Lautner when they hype the film in Paris on Nov. 10. Castmembers are also expected to visit countries and continents including Germany, South America and Australia in support of the film.
Twi-hards should also set their TiVos for Nov. 18-20, when Kristen Stewart, Rob and Taylor will each appear on Live With Regis and Kelly.

Kristen Stewart's 'rare' relationship with Taylor Lautner

Kristen Stewart has spoken about the "rare" relationship she shares with her co-star Taylor Lautner.
Kristen, 19, is often the subject of rumors saying she is dating co-star and New Moon co-star Robert Pattinson, 23, but she said she has grown close to Taylor, 17, who plays werewolf Jacob Black.
Kristen plays the role of Bella Swan in the hit movie series and falls in love with vampire Edward Cullen, who is played by Robert Pattinson.
She said to Total Film magazine: "Edward and Bella are just so tense all the time.
"Jacob and Bella are just so open and free and they can talk to each other about anything. And I would definitely say that Taylor and I have a relationship similar to that.
"And I'm not like that with everyone, either - it's so rare for me to be able to do that."

Jackson Rathbone Mum On Robert Pattinson/ Kristen Stewart Rumors 'It's none of my business. I stay out of it,' 'Twilight' actor says.

BOSTON — When we got the chance to talk to "Twilight" star Jackson Rathbone on the set of his new movie "Girlfriend," we couldn't pass up the opportunity to ask someone deeply involved the biggest question surrounding the franchise: What is the deal with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson?
After a brief pause Rathbone carefully replied, "What's the deal with them? Oh, they're not actually vampires."
Despite our faux disbelief that Pattinson wasn't actually Edward Cullen, Rathbone insisted, "No, he's actually a really nice human. It's crazy, I know. I know. But yeah, the guy's a great guy."
Before "Twilight" had even debuted last November, there were rumors circling Stewart and Pattinson, with tabloids trying to figure out whether the two were romantically involved like their characters. And the fact that director Catherine Hardwicke said the reason she cast the pair was because of their potent sexual chemistry while doing a kissing scene on her bed — not to mention that Pattinson has admittedly proposed to his co-star four times — doesn't help.
"Everybody always asks me those questions about that, and it's one of those things — it's none of my business. I stay out of it," Rathbone said.
But despite the relative silence from the cast on the subject, tabloids — like OK! magazine this week — continue to cover supermarket checkout aisles with conflicting testimonies regarding the actors' relationship status.
"Whenever we're passing through the tabloid articles, we're always like, 'Hey! There's our friends!' " Jackson said with a laugh. "I've been able to stay out of them as much as possible."

Twilight Stylist Shares Inside Info on Rob & Kristen!

Who hears more secrets than a hairstylist? OK! got an exclusive scoop from the creator of Robert Pattinson’s sigh-worthy Twilight hair from celebrity hairstylist Stuart Gavert of Gavert Atelier in Beverly Hills. Stuart sat down with OK! and shared the secrets that only a hairstylist hears — about how Rob and Kristen Stewart connected on the set of Twilight. Stuart just might be responsible for creating the look that helped spark an obsession — his sexy styling of Robert’s hair to get that tousled Edward Cullen look has driven so many girls wild that men were coming into his salon asking for the “Edward” to see if it could give them the same effect.
But Stuart isn’t one to accept much responsibility for turning Rob into a sex symbol, giving most of the credit to Rob himself.

“When you meet Rob in person, he’s very English, and he’s obviously good-looking and all of that,” explains Stuart. “But something happens. There are just people who the camera loves. You get him in front of that camera with the makeup, and he was just gorgeous.”
Stuart had just as many nice things to say about Kristen, revealing, “Kristen is the girl-next-door. She has been acting since she was three or four. She is extremely unaffected, very down-to-earth, and she has her own style. She’s just that kind of an actress.

Stuart’s on-the-set stylist spilled all the things she saw about how the couple was behind-the-scenes.
“She said that Rob is much more of a method actor [than Kristen]. He would really have to prepare himself,” recounts Stuart. “For her, she is playing this young girl around her age at the time. She is falling in love with a beautiful guy — that’s not that hard to act! But he’s playing a vampire who is seeing her as prey. He’s looking at her throat, looking at her blood vessels, but at the same time he is falling in love with her, which created a lot of tension in his character.”
Though they have different styles of acting, their differences made their attraction for each other that much greater.
“I think they just have incredibly chemistry. Just the way they look at each other, and the intensity that’s there,” says Stuart.

As for their romance, Stuart has his own theory on why Kristen fell so hard for Rob.
“Shyness is a very fetching quality. I mean he’s kind of a shy person, and that make people want to know more. He’s obviously good-looking. He can turn the charm on and off. He’s an actor. That’s what you do.”
We know Rob can work the charm on-screen, but it’s the off-screen charm that Kristen likes that we want to experience for ourselves!

New Moon preview sold out in hours at the Rome film festival

At the Rome film festival a 20-minute preview of the Twilight sequel New Moon premiered. Tickets to the show sold out in just a few hours and fans had to stand in the rain to await the actors arrival on the red carpet. Twilight grossed $383 million dollars worldwide, and it's much anticipated sequel is expected to do even better.  Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were not in attendance at the premiere.
In New Moon, Bella and Edward, played by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson separate for most of the story because he doesn't want to bring harm to her. Bella, in an effort to get over Edward become close friends with a werewolf. The story is a little darker than Twilight, but much more emotional.

Taylor Lautner, one of the actors from the "Twilight" saga, is battling over females hearts with his rival and colleague Robert Pattinson. Aged just 17, his Adonis like physique sometimes causes him problems...

Being stuck with an athletic and svelte appearance isn't without its frustrations. In fact, Taylor has admitted that he is struggling to do without ice cream! For him, doing without sugar is a real torment.

In addition, he is said to be shocked by the behaviour of some women who are a little too mad about his body and much older than him. Recently, a woman of about forty tried to tear off his clothes! We can understand why the young Greek god sometimes finds it difficult to live with his physique...

Kristen Stewart wows Demi Lovato

October 21, 2009, (Sawf News) - Robert Pattinson obsessed fans may look upon her only as his presumed girlfriend, but professionals are more impressed with Kristen Stewart's obvious and prodigious talents.
Speaking about the upcoming moving, New Moon director Chris Weitz recently said "the middle of the movie is sustained by Kristen's [Stewart] amazing performance."
Today, Stewart got more praise, from an unexpected quarter - a celebrity fan that she couldn't have been aware of – Demi Lovato.
Lovato, 17, who is wrapping up filming for Camp Rock: The Final Jam in Toronto, Canada, tweeted earlier today.
"Dear Kristen Stewart, you seem like the realest person in Hollywood. I admire you so much and I hope to meet you someday."
Later Lovato defended Stewart saying::
"She doesn't try to be an angel or perfect. She is herself."
"I'd rather look up to someone who makes mistakes instead of hiding them."
On a different note, Lovato is feeling melancholy about leaving her fans in Canada, something that is evident from her other tweets.
"So it hit me today that I'm really gonna miss seeing everybody everyday... And not just my friends here.. But the amazing fans in toronto.
Seriously... I love the fans here. I'll miss you guys."

'Meet me on the Equinox' New Moon Footage

Kirsten Prout Will Join Kristen Stewart to Star on 'Eclipse'

A representative for Kirsten Prout has confirmed to E! Online that the 19-year-old beauty will be part "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse", starring as vampire Lucy. In the David Slade-directed film, Prout's character, Lucy, is described as a prominent part of the back story of Jackson Rathbone's Jasper Hale. She teams up with another vampire named Maria, who is played by Catalina Sandino Moreno, to build a bloodsucking army. Unfortunately, Maria and Jasper will eventually kill the Canada-born star, so she may not appear in the next "Twilight" film, "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn".

Kirsten Prout previously portrayed Abigail Miller in "Elektra" alongside Jennifer Garner. She has also made an appearance in sci-fi TV series "Stargate SG-1" to star as Nesa in the episode entitled "Birthright". Additionally, the young actress is currently playing Amanda Bloom in ABC's drama series "Kyle XY". As for "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse", it revolves around Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan, who once again finds herself surrounded by danger. She is then forced to choose between her love for Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen and her friendship with Taylor Lautner's Jacob Black while knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. The flick is planned to hit U.S. theaters on June 30, 2010.

Kristen Stewart thinks appearing in the ‘Twilight’ series could have made her a “psychopath”.

The 19-year-old actress, who plays Bella in the vampire film franchise, decided to take on different roles while making the ‘Twilight’ movies to ensure she didn’t become too immersed in them.

Kristen – who recently shot ‘The Runaways’, in which she portrays musician Joan Jett – explained: “I think I
would have been a psychopath by the end of a four-year stint on the ‘Twilight’ saga without anything like that to change it up."

Kristen admits she was unaware how much her life would change when she took on the role of Bella, who falls in love with vampire Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson.

She now finds it hard to complete everyday tasks without being mobbed by fans, but is convinced the interest in her life will die down.

She added to Interview magazine: “I have a really strong feeling that this is going to go away, that this is the most intense it's going to get - and could get - and that it's fleeting.

'Twilight' Fan Timbaland Wants Edward And Bella In His Video

LAS VEGAS — Ever since their careers exploded around last year at this time, it's rare to see "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart doing anything other than slaving away on the sets of "New Moon" and the next sequel, "Eclipse." Now, Timbaland wants to give the sexy duo a chance to let their hair down on his next music video — and if anybody can make it happen, it's the Grammy-winning producer and rapper.

"I want certain people in the video," he revealed to us over the weekend at Justin Timberlake's charity concert, talking about "Morning After Dark," the first single off his upcoming album Shock Value 2, and featuring the new artist SoShy. "I want the same characters of 'Twilight,' which I've almost got."

Timbaland has spoken to us before about how Shock Value 2 was influenced by the world of Stephenie Meyer, and that "Morning After Dark" seizes on some of the darker themes in her world. Now he says he's on the verge of getting Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and possibly other "Twilight" stars to appear in the video.

"If I get Bella and Edward, it would be [ideal]," he explained. "I'm gonna give a twist to it, though."

Timbaland's twist would involve embracing the dark side of the vampire world while casting himself and friends in key roles, which he hopes will meld Forks with the aesthetic of Kate Beckinsale's hit vampire series.

"It would be almost, kind of like, 'Underworld,' " he explained. "Kind of like that movie, you won't know what we are. You don't know if we're vampires, but we are something. You know what I'm saying?"

Combining the what-are-they mysteries of the "Underworld" franchise with the romantic drama of "Twilight," Timbaland is convinced that RPattz and KStew could bring his music video the right tone. In his possible story line spun off from "New Moon," Timbaland and SoShy would appear as vampires offering Edward piece of mind as he flees for Italy.

"We would protect her while he goes away from the other dude (Jacob) and the other people (the Cullens)," he said, comparing the plot to developments we'll see in "New Moon" next month. "We was his last hope, he wouldn't want to use us, the whole thing. If [Edward] calls us it would be a big payback — a big price to pay to call my team of people to protect her. It's a whole little story line."

"And I have part two to the single too," Timbaland revealed, saying he'd hope to continue the plot in another video. "So it's like a whole little story line to it."

But for all those Twilighters out there who might be thinking about switching their three-letter exclamations from "OME!" to "WTF?" Timabaland says don't worry — he's a fanpire too.

"I've watched that movie and I watch 'True Blood' a lot — both of the seasons," he explained. "So I'm like, 'Man, this could be real ill,' because nobody's ever done nothing with music that assimilates this. So it will have to be dark.

"It could be a little fun at the same time," he promised Robsten, hoping they'll want to join forces with him. "Still dark, but still fun."

Robert Pattinson: Might Quit Acting (Bye Kristen Stewart?)

Last year in an interview of Robert Pattinson, citing that there is a possibility that he will quit acting. Now, the story surfaced on the internet again! The British actor who plays the role of Edward Cullen admits that he's considering quitting acting after the Twilight franchise comes to an end.

In his exclusive interview with Seventeen Magazine, Robert Pattinson revealed the saddest news the fans might not want to hear. "I don't even know if I want to be an actor that long. I don't even know how to be someone else... if I start doing lame work, I'm not going to stick around and do it!"

Oh my, is this connected with nonstop gossiping about him involving his co-star Kristen Stewart? Let's wait for another interview, and let's hope for the best things. One thing is for sure, no Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart love revelation soon

'New Moon' Soundtrack Cheat Sheet: Everything You Need To Know

Early last November, weeks before Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart introduced the world to "Twilight" movie madness, the film's soundtrack shot straight to the top of the Billboard albums chart. After conquering bookstores and on its way to a $70 million opening weekend at theaters, "Twilight" had showed it could rock your iPod too.

Fast-forward a year, and it's set to happen again. Little more than a month before "New Moon" premieres, the movie's soundtrack is looking to make a splash when it drops Friday (October 16). MTV News has been mapping the universe of "New Moon" music for months — which bands made the cut, which bands didn't, what the lucky few had to say about being selected — and we've gathered all our reporting together so you will know everything there is to know about the movie's tunes, in MTV's "New Moon" soundtrack cheat sheet:

The First Soundtrack

News about the original "Twilight" soundtrack started to trickle out as early as April 2008, when MTV News visited the movie's Oregon set and reported that to the disc. That summer at Comic-Con, director Catherine Hardwicke confirmed the info, saying he'd composed three songs. While only one RPattz track, "Never Think," made the cut, the Brit actor was joined on the soundtrack by Muse, Paramore, Perry Farrell and Linkin Park, among others.

" 'Twilight' really caught my attention and held it," Paramore's Hayley Williams told MTV News that September. "I'm really excited to see the book adapted to film and excited that our band gets to be a part of the phenomenon."

The soundtrack ended up selling 164,700 its first week on its way to achieving double-platinum status.

Collecting the 'New Moon' Sounds

Which bands would get the call for the soundtrack sequel? For months, there was a whole lot of speculation without much in the way of solid answers. Coldplay, Kelly Clarkson, Thom Yorke and the Kings of Leon were among the names floated early on. The first verified news came in August, when MTV News revealed that Death Cab for Cutie had secured the soundtrack's first single with their tune "Meet Me on the Equinox." We then premiered the song during VMA weekend.

After weeks of guesswork and insider leaks, "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer unveiled the full track list on her Web site September 21. The artists and bands included Muse, the Killers, Thom Yorke, Lykke Li and OK Go.

The Artists Speak

Ever since the lineup went public, MTV News has been hitting up these musicians for their thoughts on joining the "Twilight" universe and the inside word about the songs they've contributed.

"We were all really excited to be asked to write for it, because it had become such a massive phenomenon," Death Cab frontman Ben Gibbard said. "We wrote and recorded the song and turned it in, and you hoped the people deemed it worthy."

It was indeed deemed worthy, as was the track recorded by Bon Iver and St. Vincent called "Rosyln." "I think there's something vampirey and creepy about the two of us singing together," said St. Vincent, whose real name is Annie Clark. "It's a simple, stripped-down kind of song. It's really elegant and beautiful."

Swedish singer Lykke Li revealed that she caught an early viewing of "New Moon," sat down at the piano and composed "Possibility." "It's almost like a fever haze," she explained. "It's very repetitive, like a mood you go into. ... The lyrics are like, 'When you walk, you walk like a thief with blood on your hands, because I die when you leave me.' "

Returning for the second "Twilight" soundtrack, Muse said they were thankful for the increased exposure. "I think our music has reached out to whole loads of new people that haven't heard us before," drummer Dominic Howard said. "It's great to know that people are discovering our music. It's a nice side project to be involved in."

The Vampire Future

The "Twilight" future is actually arriving a bit early this year — four days, to be exact — after the soundtrack release date was shifted from October 20 to October 16. But what comes next? "Eclipse," the third of the franchise films, is in the midst of shooting in Vancouver. Which musicians might make it onto that soundtrack?

Muse have hinted that the band will be contributing music yet again to the franchise. "We might even do something for the third one," Howard told us. "How about that for a scoop?"

But for now, it's all just speculation. And here's some more: Jackson Rathbone, who plays vampire Jasper Cullen, leads a band called 100 Monkeys, which is providing the soundtrack and score for his upcoming movie "Girlfriend." Could this mean that Rathbone might show up on "Eclipse," as Pattinson did on "Twilight"?

"We'd love it," Rathbone told MTV News in June. "[But] we're not really pushing for it. It's one of those things where if they want to put our song on the album, I'm not going to complain."

Alex Meraz talks Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner

The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Alex Meraz had an interview with E! Online recently, where he talked about everything from co-stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner to his background in martial arts and break-in to the film industry.

Of course, the interview does begin with the standard relationship questions, which Meraz quickly and efficiently deflects like a true pro, but then the interview gets interesting.

Meraz reveals that co-star Kristen Stewart has been a big help in preparing him for being a part of the Twilight film franchise. In addition, he points to Pattinson's reading and music as his source of stability through it all. Finally, he explains that Taylor Lautner is still just a kid who is content with a football on set.

New Moon Special: Robert, Taylor & Kristen on Making a 'Pretty Hot Movie'

                                                      Calling all Twilighters!

In PEOPLE's special New Moon issue, which hits newsstands Friday, Robert Pattinson shares his baby photos, Taylor Lautner growls for fans and Kristen Stewart gets intense.

"Twilight is about first love; New Moon is about heartbreak," says the film's director Chris Weitz. "That requires the actors to go to some very dark places."

But who was the most intense on set? "Kristen may be the most serious actor I've ever encountered," Weitz reveals. "She took the job of portraying Bella's depression very seriously."

In the sequel, Bella (Stewart) turns to best bud Jacob (Lautner) after her vampire love Edward (Pattinson) flees Forks, Wash., in the hopes of giving her a normal life. But as Bella grapples with her not-so-platonic feelings for Jacob, he transforms into a werewolf.

"This is a severely emotional movie," Stewart says.

But it's not all about the drama. "It's a pretty hot movie," says Ashley Greene, who thinks Stewart and Lautner "have this undeniable chemistry."

"I get nervous trying to represent Team Jacob in the right way," Lautner admits. "This guy [Pattinson] is some pretty good competition."

"Fans ask me to growl for them, and I really don't enjoy doing that," the 17-year-old star says. "Please just wait for the movie." The supernatural romance unfolds on the big screen Nov. 20.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Still Waiting For Breaking Dawn to be Greenlit

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are still waiting patiently to hear if they’ll be starring in the fourth Twilight movie — because Breaking Dawn is yet to be greenlit.
Despite speculation about when production of Breaking Dawn will begin; who will be cast; and when the film will be released, author Stephenie Meyer still hasn’t given producers the go ahead to make the fourth Twilight book into a film.
“The film has not been greenlit — and thus no decisions about the film’s shooting location, start date, the director, etc… have been made,” said a spokesman for Summit Entertainment.
Twilight sequel New Moon is due to hit theaters this November.
Eclipse — the sequel to New Moon, which is currently being filmed in Vancouver, Canada — will hit theaters June 2010.
In September, Pattinson hinted at the possibility of a fourth Twilight flick.
“If everything goes as scheduled, in January I’ll be filming Bel Ami in Paris for 3 months, after which I’ll start filming the fourth and last Twilight movie Breaking Dawn,” the hunky British star told a French magazine.
“I’m pretty much booked for the next two years. I’ve got one week at the end of the summer to see my friend, whom in the end, I’ll forget even exists. It’s Crazy!”
Lautner, 17, recently gave his opinion on the possibility of a Breaking Dawn movie.
“I’m sure it would be different,” he said. “It was definitely a surprise for me when I read the book.
“But we’re just trying to take it one movie at a time, and nothing’s been confirmed yet on the fourth, so we’re just staying focused on Eclipse at the moment.”

New Moon's Robert Pattinson talks Twilight hysteria, Taylor Lautner, & competing with Edward Cullen

Robert Pattinson is no stranger to the spotlight after taking on the role of Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga. In a new interview to discuss New Moon, Pattinson talks about what it is like competing with Edward Cullen for dates, being in the center of the global 'Twilight' hysteria, and the fact that Taylor Lautner is one of the main protagonists in the New Moon film.

In a new interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, Pattinson comments on the Twilight hysteria and how he is learning to deal with it by saying, "It's still sort of new." He continues, "To be honest, I still don't really understand what's going on. Like yesterday, I was having lunch down the road. We were in this place for a couple of hours and suddenly there was like 400 people outside on the street. It was just so nuts and it's like that all the time now." When asked what will happen when New Moon is released he says, "When the second one comes out, then I'll see how I am. Mostly I can ignore things to quite a big extent and kind of pretend they're not really happening." Pattinson who had scores of girls visiting him on the set of 'Remember Me,' and who can barely go anywhere without pandamonium reveals, "I just don't take any of it seriously. It's just a job and while it's a job I love, girls scream out for Edward, not Robert. I still can't get a date."

Pattinson discusses why fans will look to Taylor Lautner in New Moon, "I'm not the lead in the second film. Taylor [Lautner] is. I appear in Bella's dreams. So I'm in it but the focus is not on me. I just have significant moments at the beginning ... and the end. So I'm more of a supporting role in this one, which is why I felt so free. I didn't have to deal with any of the bulls***of the first one. I don't have to hold the movie or worry about the fans. I think I did it better without all those pressures."

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Are Dreading Their Upcoming Promotional Duties

Kristen — who is currently in Vancouver, Canada, shooting the third Twilight flick Eclipse — recently revealed that she has been so busy with her career, she has only just graduated from high school.

“I went to public school up until junior high,” she told Interview magazine. “I know it’s a little late and I’m a little old, but I just finished high school — with honors.

“The other day I was doing a graduation scene on Eclipse, and I had just finished high school myself the week before, so I told the crew, ‘Hey, just so you know, I’m actually graduating right now, and I’m not going to have another ceremony.’ So I took a mock picture with an extra. I literally asked the actor to come back and shake my hand and hand me the diploma while I was dressed in a cap and gown.”

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Kristen and Robert Pattinson are dreading their upcoming promotional duties for Twilight sequel New Moon, which hits theaters next month.

“Rob and Kristen love the acting; but they hate everything else — the publicity and hype — that goes with the Twilight franchise,” a source told a tabloid.

“They’re dreading giving interviews because they know people will try and ask them about their relationship.”

Taylor Lautner Rescues Kristen Stewart In New ‘New Moon’ Photo

Robsten = The Real-Life Romeo & Juliet?

We're sorry, Robstenites. Although we totally don't agree with reports that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's relationship is on the outs, we do have to pose the ugly Q:
Was Robsten doomed from the start?
If vampires and publicists were around during Shakespeare's day, we bet he would have changed Romeo & Juliet to Rob & Kristen for sure. They certainly seem like cross-starred lovers, do they not? Fighting to stay together despite overbearing forces desperately trying to keep them apart. So romantic—and depressingly idealistic.
Why can't our fave couple be blessed like Brangelina?
This whole Robsten sitch reminds us very much of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie during the filming of Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005. And check out this coincidence—that was a damn Summit produced movie, too! What are the friggin' odds of one production company being responsible for producing two of the hottest, most talked-about celeb couples in H'wood history?
But unlike what's currently going on in Twiland, not only did Summit not even bother to cover up Brangelina's budding romance, they friggin' loved it! The nonstop rumors that something sexual was going on between the two costars gave the film tons more buzz (and box office).
And seriously, that pair up was much more controversial than li'l ole Robsten, since Brad was technically still married at the time to one of America's most beloved sweethearts.
I mean, think about if, folks. The only third party involved in R.Pattz and K.Stew's matchup is K.S.' ex-BF Michael Angarano, who, uh, ain't exactly a household name anyone really has any strong feelings toward.
So what's the diff? That Brad and Angie are adults with years of cred built up so they can do what they want, while Rob and Kristen are still young and new to the scene? We seriously hope at the end of the day (and the Twilight franchise), there won't be any difference between these two duos at all. At least not in Summit's eyes.

Are Rob and Kristen On the Outs?

Is there major trouble in Robsten's paradise? Twitter has been on a rampage with worried Twilight fans saying Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart got into a screaming fight over the weekend.

OK, well, we've peeped the video of this supposed squabble and must fess, totally don't see the big deal.

Splash News dissected the footage and determined that Rob was profusely apologizing to Kristen. They do not know for what. Splash also claims Kristen snapped at R.Pattz because she would have preferred he hold his emotions for when those standing nearby waiting for the elevator could not overhear. "Can we just wait for these people to go up?" she supposedly bitched.

Uh, no, Rob. By all means, no! We wanna hear all about it! But, look, can't you see this public-appearance stuff is makin' your woman nuts?

Is this couple headed to Splitsville before even going public?

Uh, no, stress our fave Twilight insiders. Like that's a killer surprise.

Look, if you ask us, we kinda hear Kristen say that, but there are way too many questions that need to be answered before we judge.

First, wouldn't all of you be just as pissy after a night of being stalked with flashing lights? Secondly, how do we know that what she snapped had to do with Rob? If anything, this video just made us feel even sorrier for the pair.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Could Surface at Scream Awards

“Twilight” star Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, both
increasingly reclusive in the face of rabid fans and paparazzi, are expected to surface later this month at Spike TV’s Scream Awards.

Summit Entertainment is expected to unveil the latest and likely last movie trailer from Twilight sequel “New Moon.” At the MTV Video Awards and Comic-Con, Rob, Kristen and Taylor Lautner have had the honors of introducing trailers.

Rob will be competing for “Best Actor in a Fantasy Movie or TV Show” against Ed Asner in “Up;” Hugh Jackman in “X-Men; Brad Pitt, in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button; Daniel Radcliffe for “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” and Michael Sheen, in “Underworld: Rise of the Lycans.”

Kristen will be competing for best actress against Scarlett Johansson and Jaime King in “The Spirit;” Rhona Mitra in “Underworld” and Emma Watsonin "Half Blood Prince."

Fans can vote for their favorites up until the awards show tapes on Saturday, Oct. 17 in Los Angeles. The two-hour show will air on Spike TV on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 10pm (Eastern). To vote go to SpikeTV.

By the time the show airs, the Summit Entertainment promotional campaign will be in full swing ahead of the November premier of sequel “Twilight Saga: New Moon.” So expect a lot more in the way of public appearances and magazine interviews by Rob and cast.

If Rob and crew show up for the awards, they won’t be the only movie vampires roaming the set. Alan Ball, Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin, Alexander SkarsgĂ„rd, Sam Trammell and apparently “more” cast members from the hit cable series “True Blood” will also be there.

Classic Photo OF Robert Pattinson And Krisn Stewart

: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart share dinner at Pinky's with a Friend

The happy trio of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and long-time friend and musician Sam Bradley were spotted dining at Pinky's Restaurant in Vancouver, BC on Saturday night.
Bradley, friends with Pattinson since he was 12, joined the ever-famous couple of Twilight's New Moon as the group enjoyed dinner and drinks till late in the evening.
According to reports by PopSugar, the duo of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, often referred to as "Robsten" escaped into a hotel elevator together sans Bradley at the end of the night.
The couple has been shooting in the Canadian landscape for the third edition of Twilight, Eclipse but with the "inclement weather" it's been tough for goals of a smoother production, says director David Slade.
Robert just recently shot a cover for the front of AnOther Man magazine. In an interview with the mag, R.Patz makes a remark about the challenges of acting. His feel? "The hardest thing I've ever done in my life," says the star.
As for the toll the speculated relationship is taking on the New Moon couple, reports say it more than irritates Rob and Kristen.
While sources butted heads on the accuracy of Pattinson throwing darts at himself in tabloids, the star has confessed to the media that he's come close to "losing it".

Kristen Stewart Goes From Vampires To The Marines

If James Woods has his way, Kristen Stewart's next movie will be An American Girl with the Twilight star in the lead role as a Marine.

Woods told ComingSoon.net that when he bought the script for An American Girl last year he immediately thought of Stewart and this was before Twilight made her a superstar. She's told him she definitely wants to do it, said Woods who will produce and costar in the flick.

The role will have Stewart playing a small town girl who joins the Marines just to escape a sex tape scandal at home. She unexpectedly excels in the military but is also injured in the line of duty and returns home a changed woman.
it is a "slam dunk Oscar for her," Woods said.

Kristen Stewart Is Bored of Herself

Kristen Stewart is on the cover of Interview looking like Edward turned her into a vampire a little earlier than expected (spoiler alert!). At least it's a superfierce vampire, though.

Interviewed by Dennis Hopper (get well soon), K.Stew is all business, which means no talk of Robert Pattinson and their onscreen chemistry or whatever we're used to hearing about.

Instead, she awkwardly and honestly talks about acting and dealing with all this fame.

"All I'm thinking of is the fact that everything I say is going to be criticized—not criticized, just evaluated and analyzed," she says at one point.

And it's true. Every word anyone even remotely related to the Twilight series utters quickly spreads across the Internet and is immediately deconstructed for clues of possible Robsten hookups or shady Summit conspiracy theories.

But that's just life, right K.Stew?

"There's nothing you can do about it, to be honest," she says. "I don't leave my hotel room—literally, I don't. I don't talk to anybody about my personal life, and maybe that perpetuates it, too. But it's really important to own what you want to own and keep it to yourself."

"Some nights, I think, 'You know what? I don't care. I'm just going to do what I want to do.' Then the next day I think, 'Ugh. Now everyone thinks I'm going out to get the attention.' But it's like, no, I actually, for a second, thought that maybe I could be like a normal person."

She does see an end to this craze, though.

"But I have a really strong feeling that this is going to go away, that this is the most intense it's going to get—and could get—and that it's fleeting. So in a few years, I will hopefully become more like the people I want to become like."

In the meantime, while she waits for an end to the madness, Kristen will just have to settle on being a boring recluse:

"The sad thing is that I feel so boring because Twilght is literally how every conversation I have these days begins—whether it's someone I'm meeting for the first time or someone I just haven't seen in a while. The first thing I want to say to them is, 'It's insane! And, as a person, I can't do anything!' But then I think to myself, 'God damn it, shut the f--k up.' "

Twilight Saga Actress Kristen Stewart is Anti Twitter

Although Twilight Saga actor Peter Facinelli uses Twitter, other Twilight and New Moon cast members, including Twilight star Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, are avoiding Twitter like a New Moon plague.

So why would Twilight and New Moon stars Kristen Stewart and Robert pattinson have a Twilight sized hate for Twitter while some of their Twilight Saga co-stars work their Twitter magic? According to Gossip Center, Twilight Saga star Kristen Stewart has no use for Twitter since it adds to her lack of privacy due to her Twilight fame and the popularity of the Stephenie Meyer penned Twilight Saga. In New Moon essence, as Kristen Stewart feels, Twitter acts as a Kristen Stewart GPS for the Twilight paparazzi to track her every New Moon move.

Gossip Center reports on a Twilight related Kristen Stewart story from the UK's Dazed and Confused Twilight that indicates Stewart revealed her Twilight disdain for Twitter since it allows Twilight followers to track locations, which ruins her attempts at privacy beyond the Twilight Saga. "[The paparazzi] find out where I am," reveals Stewart, "from the Internet - from Twitter, man! Anyone who wants to know where I am at any given time just has to go on Twitter, it’s so ridiculous!"

Is Twitter good or bad for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart? Tell us your Twilight thoughts.

Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson Stay Close Off-Camera

Over the weekend, the cast of the Eclipse all hit up the Players Chophouse in Vancouver Saturday night. The private party was thrown by Jackson Rathbone and his band, 100 Monkeys, and Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart attended, looking very much like a couple.

An inside source tells Twifans, "Rob and Kristen came after most of the cast and they did come together. They were together most of the night, but definitely interacted with other members of the cast."

As for what the rest of the cast thinks about their real-life coupling, the snitch surmises, "Everyone just expects [Rob and Kristen] to be together. It's sort of a package deal with them now--everyone knows they hang out during whatever downtime they get."

And it's clear from these outtakes from Vanity Fair that the twosome make a very pretty couple, both real and fictional. (Courtesy of ROBsessed and www.robertpattinson.org)
